One of my favourite books to date. So informative and intersectional, covering the vast and cross-cultural history of witches into modern day feminist, queer, non-binary witches and witchcraft practices. The writing is fun and accessible. Great read if you're a practicing witch, or interested in the history and modern-day presence of witches and witchcraft.

It's equal parts a history lesson and manifesto, offering a fiery, feminist deep dive into the cultural legacies of witchcraft, slut-shaming, and the fight for sexual liberation. It calls on every woman to own her power unapologetically…If you're ready to challenge old ideas, embrace your own power, and understand the magic of resistance, this one's for you. An absolute must-read.

This is a super amazing book. Each page blew my mind like I was absorbing Eve's forbidden knowledge from Satan which of course I could not get enough of. Devoured it in one sitting. A quick read as it's short, but so rich & full of intensely delicious tidbits. Essential reading for any feminist hot witch who wants to historically contextualize her practice and know she's not alone on the path.

This is a beautiful, funny, important, well-researched work that dovetails the monikers of slut, witch, and feminist; Sollée elegantly weaves the three storylines together and draws on history, philosophy, sociology, and wonderful anecdotes to create a strong, concise book about the power of women in groups and how those women in groups have been attacked over the years and have held fast despite it all. All hail the coven; read this if you need to rediscover your witchy core.

I highly recommend this book to witches, sluts, feminists, and folks intrigued by these inflammatory monikers. This is a concise and intriguing history of fringe women and their plight, a narrative that dips into the past and comes right back to the present without missing a beat. Highlighting how little has changed for women who buck against the patriarchy, this book will make you angry while empowering you to stand in your rebellion with the countless other witches, sluts, and feminists who will not tolerate the oppression of those seeking to wield these epithets against women who refuse to conform!

Witches, Sluts, Feminists modernizes the image of the witch without stripping her of her power or history. I honestly can’t recommend it enough and would almost consider it mandatory reading for all modern witches and feminists (and sluts!).

I love the author’s writing style. I found myself nodding in agreement, and I love how Kristen covers a wide range of topics, with great source material, interviews, and really interesting information. The author always does a great job at connecting the dots on modern and historical relationships with witches, and brought up some very important global issues we face in the now.

I read this book in two days. I sent pictures of paragraphs and texted isolated lines to friends. It's a very sharp, no-time-for-your-bullshit reassessment of witches as central to feminist lineage and role models of sexual liberation.

This book was hard to put down. Such a broad knowledge base. We used for a feminist book club and the wealth of resources within has our next few months of books picked out. Everyone should read this to gain additional understanding of topics they may have preconceived opinions over.

Women across the feminine spectrum, I implore you to read this. Give yourself this education you had no idea you even needed. Walk away from these 163 pages wiser about womanhood. You won’t regret it!

If you are any one of the three words on the cover of this book, this is a book you want on your coffee table or altar. I had this book in my living room for a full year, and it invited the most wonderful conversations with almost everyone who walked into my home. Sollée’s writing style is conversational and accessible, and this is a book that you can pick up, flip open, and find something interesting to mull over for the day. I found myself almost using it like a tarot deck or divination tool...I’d pick it up as I walked by, stand and read a couple paragraphs, and then go on my merry way with a few new concepts for contemplation.
